I have worked in the financial Services industry for over 25 years. Initially I joined the industry as a financial adviser for a large life insurance provider before joining a major UK Bancassurer, where I worked for 17 years.
Following the closure of the Bancassurance Division I took the opportunity to work as a self-employed financial adviser for five years where I built a successful business from scratch.
Today, I provide trusted, holistic financial advice to clients who have a wide range of financial needs and goals. I pride myself in giving straightforward financial advice to my clients, by putting what can often be complex financial matters into easy-to-understand language.
I continued my professional studies and attained the Level 6 Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning achieving both Chartered Financial Planner status and Fellowship of the Personal Financial Society.
Outside of work, I am married with a son, and my hobbies include cycling, fell walking, eating out and following my football team, Leeds United. I enjoy raising money for charities, in particular Cancer Research and MIND.
