Chris is the company’s principal adviser and its most senior adviser, covering all aspects of financial planning. He has been in the industry for more than 30 years and has held several senior positions with several high-profile financial institutions throughout his career. Having been appointed as a Director at Sheafmoor in 1999 and subsequently Managing Director in 2008, he combined the roles of practice management and that of adviser to his many longstanding clients.
Following the acquisition of Sheafmoor Adviser Services Holdings Group (ASHL) in March 2023, Chris stepped down as Managing Director but continues to act as a highly qualified financial specialist. He’s passionate about using cashflow modelling for his clients. This tool enables advisers to build the planning processes and meetings around clients’ specific needs. It allows them to understand that the planning process is bespoke to their goals and aspirations.
Chris has received numerous industry awards throughout his career and is a respected speaker at industry events.
Outside of the business, Chris is a loving husband, father to four daughters, and grandfather to eight grandchildren – which is why he says he is still working! He is a season ticket holder for Sheffield United and describes himself as a bit of a petrolhead and music lover.
