For Richard, making a positive impact on a client’s future is the most rewarding aspect of his job. In his opinion, receiving great financial advice is one of the most important things a person can do.
Richard builds his advice on long-lasting relationships with clients. He understands that needs evolve over time. For instance, the transition from employment to retirement can be daunting, but having a thorough understanding of a client’s circumstances, a trusted relationship built over years of interaction, and the knowledge and expertise to guide them to the correct decision, makes that transition a lot easier. Being part of their journey is where Richard adds the most value.
His route to this industry was slightly unconventional. He played professional rugby for Bristol and London Welsh before an injury ended his career at the age of 27. But he’s carrying on the family tradition as both his father and uncle work in the industry.
In his spare time, Richard visits various gyms, participating mainly spin and Pilates classes. He eats out too often. Most of all, he loves spending quality time with family and friends.
